现在普通的进行DNA文库定量的方法都比较复杂、昂贵并且不可靠。无论是使用emPCR或bPCR，对模板的精确定量都是至关重要的。新一代测序（NGS）技术中使用的文库定量方法也有许多缺点，在反应前要用电泳或分光光度计法检测总DNA的浓度，依据适当的PCR扩增中DNA的浓度来优化基因簇密度或微珠富集率。这种方法灵敏度低，样品要精确到毫微克，所以不适合高吞吐量的定量PCR。

   KAPA Library Quantification Kits 包括IIIumina Genome Analyzer ， Roche 454 Titanium series 和Roche 454 FLX series，有准确、可靠的DNA 浓度标准和定量PCR 试剂，包含一种新的DNA 聚合酶，该酶是用分子进化方法制造的适用于使用SYBR®Green I 染料的定量PCR。试剂盒中都包含5mL SYBR® FAST qPCR Master Mix（2×）, 1mL Primer Premix, 6×80μL DNA Quantification Standards。试剂盒中含有引物和DNA浓度标样，包含可以用于不同DNA测序平台和定量PCR仪器的定量PCR试剂。Primer Premix和DNA Quantification Standards可以单独购买。
